Current Sensor IC
ROHM has resistance detection type and magnetic field detection type Current Sensor ICs.
The resistance detection type that uses a shunt resistor contributes to man-hour reduction due to the ease of handling and mounting.
The magnetic field detection type is a current sensor that uses an MI (Magneto Impedance) element. Since the detection is performed in a contactless method, the power loss is small and the mounting area can be further reduced.
There is also a Coulomb Counter IC equipped with interrupt functions such as overcurrent detection and battery capacity detection, calibration functions that achieve high accuracy, and functions that measure the voltage of batteries and thermistors.
